Jewelry Expo WarrantyJewelry Expo stands behind all of the jewelry items that we offer. All Jewelry Expo pieces are accompanied by a lifetime warranty covering any defects that arise as a result of manufacturing. If you believe your ring may possess any of these rare manufacturing defects we encourage you to contact us so that we can arrange to evaluate the piece.

If it is found that the damage was the result of manufacturing, Jewelry Expo, will repair or replace the item at our expense. In addition, to the guarantees provided by Jewelry Expo, many of our pieces also boast warranties through their respective designer. Those specific policies are listed separately below.

Please keep in mind that items of jewelry are designed to be worn daily and as a result there is regular “wear and tear” that is not considered to be a result of any manufacturing defects. Here are a few examples of common issues arising from regular wear and tear:

-Discoloration of metals due to outside contact with cosmetics, direct exposure to chemicals in the household, or immersion in pools/hot tubs.

-Metal and prongs will wear down over time and can require additional restoration in order to maintain their strength and finishes.

-Prongs catching on clothing or outside surfaces can cause them to pull away. This can result in the loss of a diamond or gemstone.

-The loss of a diamond or gemstone due to excessive contact or sharp impacts. It is industry standard for white gold jewelry to be Rhodium plated which results in a bright white surface finish. Over time due to regular wear and tear this surface plating will wear away and will need to be reapplied.

Jewelry Expo also offers the Jeweler’s Mutual Care plan which provides a lifetime warranty coverage on fees associated with loss of stones as well as regular wear and tear servicing fees. You can purchase these extended coverage plans at checkout for all Jewelry Expo items.

Lifetime Upgrade PolicyJewelry Expo offers a full upgrade policy on all natural diamonds purchased from us. We will credit the full amount paid for any natural diamond center stone we’ve previously sold towards the upgraded purchase. The new diamond must be priced at least twice the previous diamond in order to receive full credit.

We do not offer upgrade credits on laboratory-grown gemstones, laboratory-grown diamonds, or Moissanites.

In addition, many of our designers including MICHAEL M, TACORI and VERRAGIO offer trade credits towards upgraded rings within their respective collections. AppraisalAll items purchased from Jewelry Expo will be shipped with an insurance appraisal for your convenience. Our appraisals will identify your items by their unique characteristics and quality for easy reference, identification and insurance purposes. You can deliver this document directly to your preferred insurance provider for proper coverage.

ShippingJewelry Expo ships all of its merchandise via FedEx Express. Each item is video recorded being boxed and is insured through its arrival at the destination address. All items being shipped or received are thoroughly documented and recorded to insure their contents and eliminate fraudulent activities.

SizingAt Jewelry Expo we want to make sure your ring fits perfectly. To make that even easier we cover a first sizing adjustment should it be needed within a year of your purchase. Keep in mind that any styles considered “eternity” that have designs or diamonds/gemstones around the entire ring are, in most cases, unable to be sized.

Return PolicyAll Jewelry Expo engagement rings, excluding “designer” and “custom” pieces, are returnable and will be granted a full refund if the return is received within 30 days from the date of purchase.

A “designer” item is any item that we offer manufactured by VERRAGIO, TACORI, MICHAEL M, GABRIEL & CO., SCOTT KAY, KARL LAGERFELD, ARTCARVED, BARKEV’S, TRITON, LASHBROOK, GOLDMAN, OR THORSTEN.

Natural diamonds, laboratory grown diamonds, moissanites and lab grown gemstones may be returned or exchanged in their original condition within 30 days of receipt.

Custom “designer” orders may be cancelled for a full refund within 48 hours of the purchase. Any orders cancelled afterwards will be subject to each designer’s respective cancellation fees at that time.
